today i would be featuring a talented oil painter from Canada. aged 21, Sarah has already found her own unique style distinct by the skin tones and smoothness of her work.

this is one of her many acrylic and oil works, here we can see her attention to detail on the face in particular. as we can see with most of her works, she likes to place great amount of focus on the faces of her subject, often using them to depict certain emotions.

Mom's Bday Gift by ~TeaPartyGirl on deviantART
here we see a painting of a goldfish with oil on canvas. unlike most of her works, the subject this time is a little fish instead of females. the brushstrokes are also more obvious contrary to her usual smooth paintings.

Tip of the Iceberg by ~TeaPartyGirl on deviantART
this is one of Sarah's conceptual works. i like her conceptual works quite a bit as they often depict very interesting view points which i normally would not think about. i like the colours used here as the red and oranges int he sky contrast the blue of the water. using solid black with yellow outlines on the hair of the lady makes it very distinct to her style, the smooth gradients of colour on the females skin is also very distinct to Sarah's style.

Sarah's style is very much distinct, and utilises the oil paint's ability to blend to the fullest. we can see more of her works at her gallery which you could go to by clicking the link at the top of the post.
